Machinery Operator
Agricontracts is a family owned and operated business based in Upper Hutt, Wellington. We have been providing a variety of Horticultural, Agricultural, Forestry and Grounds Maintenance Services to our clients in Wellington, Kapiti and the Wairarapa for over 28 years.
We are looking for someone to join our Heavy Machinery Team.
The nature of the job is mainly Tractor Driving and Excavator Operation.
This job will have a lot of machinery variety so someone with the natural ability to pick up operating different machinery will suit the role well.
Applicants must be willing to help out with small Labour tasks surrounding the position.
To be considered for the role you should:
- Hold a clean, Full Drivers Licence.
- W,T,R Licence is applicable to some of our machinery. Training and assessment can be organised
- Have experience operating Tractors, Excavators or similar types of Machinery.
- Feel confident working with and embracing our strong Health & Safety culture.
- Be physically fit.
- Have a positive attitude.
- Be confident to self manage and work hard.
- Be able to pass a pre-employment Drug, Medical and Criminal check and random Drug testing.
- Have the ability to work within a small team.

Labourer
We are looking for someone to join our Team.
The nature of the job is assisting our crew across the board.
This job will have a lot of variety ranging from Treework, Forestry work, Farm work, Weedspraying, Gardening and Planting, Linetrimming and Scrub Bar work.
This role could evolve into a number of career paths within Agricontracts.
To be considered for the role you should:

- Have a positive attitude.

- Show good initiative
